Cookie Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Anyora Limited, trading as Anyora, uses cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies on anyora.uk.

It explains:

  • what cookies and similar technologies are;

  • why we use them;

  • which technology categories and providers are relevant to our store;

  • how long certain technologies may remain;

  • how Shopify Network Intelligence and the Pinterest app pixel operate;

  • how you can accept, decline or manage non-essential technologies; and

  • how you can change or withdraw your choices.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. About Anyora

United Kingdom

Email: support@anyora.uk

Website: anyora.uk

Customers may also contact us through the Contact page on our website.

Customer-support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm UK local time, excluding public holidays.

UK local time means Greenwich Mean Time or British Summer Time, as applicable.

In this policy, “Anyora”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Anyora Limited.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on or accessed from a browser or device when a person visits a website.

Other technologies may perform similar functions by storing information on a device or accessing information already stored there. These may include:

  • pixels;

  • app pixels;

  • tags;

  • scripts;

  • local storage;

  • session storage;

  • software development kits;

  • device or advertising identifiers; and

  • similar storage or access technologies.

In this policy, the term “cookies” may be used collectively to refer to cookies and similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

Cookies and similar technologies may be:

  • session technologies, which normally expire when the browser session ends; or

  • persistent technologies, which remain until they expire, are replaced or are deleted.

They may be operated by Anyora, Shopify or another provider supporting our website, checkout, payments, security, analytics or advertising.

3. Our current confirmed configuration

At the date of this policy:

  • our online store is hosted through Shopify;

  • Shopify’s automated cookie banner is active for United Kingdom visitors;

  • the banner provides Accept, Decline and Manage preferences options;

  • Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled;

  • Pinterest is connected as an app pixel through Shopify Customer Events;

  • Pinterest is the only advertising or analytics app pixel currently confirmed in Shopify Customer Events;

  • the Custom pixels section in Shopify Customer Events is empty; and

  • Shopify’s automated Data Sharing Opt-Out page is configured for our store.

A custom pixel being absent from Shopify Customer Events does not prevent Shopify’s own platform technologies or a properly installed app integration from operating.

We will review and update this policy before intentionally introducing another analytics, advertising or tracking integration where a change to this policy or our consent settings is required.

4. Our cookie banner and preference controls

Our Shopify cookie banner is displayed to visitors in the United Kingdom.

The banner gives visitors the ability to:

  • accept non-essential technologies;

  • decline non-essential technologies; or

  • manage preferences by purpose.

Non-essential technologies requiring consent should not operate for the relevant purpose until the required consent has been given.

Not selecting an option, continuing to browse or remaining inactive does not by itself amount to consent to non-essential technologies.

You may change or withdraw your choices through the cookie-preferences control available on our website.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Strictly necessary technologies may continue to operate where they are required to:

  • transmit a communication;

  • provide a service you requested;

  • maintain the security of the website or checkout;

  • remember privacy choices; or

  • satisfy another applicable legal exception.

5. Technology categories

Strictly necessary technologies

Strictly necessary technologies support functions required to operate, secure or provide the store and services requested by customers.

They may support:

  • shopping baskets;

  • checkout;

  • payment security;

  • customer-account authentication;

  • fraud prevention;

  • session management;

  • website and network security;

  • load balancing;

  • localisation;

  • delivery of website content;

  • storage of cookie preferences; and

  • protection against tampering or misuse.

Where a legal exception applies, strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent.

Blocking them through browser settings may prevent parts of the store, basket, account, checkout or payment process from working properly.

Preference and functional technologies

Preference and functional technologies may:

  • remember language or regional choices;

  • remember display settings;

  • support login convenience;

  • support Shop or Shop Pay;

  • remember selected store functions; or

  • provide a more consistent browsing experience.

Where they are not strictly necessary or covered by another exception, we use them only after obtaining the applicable consent.

Analytics and measurement technologies

Analytics and measurement technologies may help us understand:

  • how visitors reach the website;

  • which pages and products are viewed;

  • how visitors navigate the store;

  • how shopping baskets and checkout perform;

  • whether technical errors occur;

  • which devices and browsers are used;

  • whether advertising resulted in a visit or purchase; and

  • how the website and customer experience may be improved.

Where consent is required, analytics technologies are used only after the relevant consent has been provided.

Consent to analytics does not automatically amount to consent to advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-service tracking.

Advertising and attribution technologies

Advertising and attribution technologies may be used to:

  • measure advertising performance;

  • record whether an advertisement led to a visit or purchase;

  • attribute purchases or other events to advertising;

  • create or measure advertising audiences;

  • understand advertising interactions;

  • limit repeated advertising;

  • personalise advertising; or

  • support cross-service advertising measurement.

We request consent before using non-exempt technologies for:

  • behavioural advertising;

  • personalised advertising;

  • audience creation;

  • cross-service tracking;

  • advertising attribution; or

  • related profiling.

Declining advertising technologies does not prevent use of the ordinary store, although advertising may be less personalised and some measurement may not occur.

6. Shopify storefront cookies

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to operate our store.

Depending on the features used, the visitor’s device, region and privacy choices, Shopify may place or access storefront cookies such as the following.

Name Purpose Typical duration
_shopify_marketing Contains marketing information for storefront or checkout surfaces 1 year

The exact technologies present during a particular visit may differ according to:

  • Shopify updates;

  • the device or browser;

  • customer location;

  • the Shopify surface used;

  • store features;

  • Shop or Shop Pay use;

  • privacy settings; and

  • consent choices.

Shopify maintains its current cookie names, purposes and durations in its official Shopify Cookie Policy.

7. Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store.

When Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may securely use customer information from interactions with:

  • Anyora;

  • Shopify;

  • Shop;

  • Shop Pay;

  • other participating Shopify merchants; and

  • Shopify-supported services

together with other Shopify information to generate insights and provide Enhanced Services.

Depending on the service and applicable choices, these services may support:

  • security;

  • fraud prevention;

  • improved checkout experiences;

  • payment functionality;

  • personalisation;

  • product recommendations;

  • store performance;

  • measurement;

  • advertising-related services; and

  • improvements to Shopify and merchant services.

Other participating merchants do not receive direct access to Anyora’s customer information merely because Network Intelligence is enabled.

For some Network Intelligence and Enhanced Services processing, Shopify may act as a separate controller and determine its own purposes, lawful bases and methods of processing.

Our Shopify cookie banner and privacy controls communicate applicable customer consent and opt-out choices to Shopify.

Where a customer does not consent to non-essential cookies or tracking technologies through Shopify’s properly configured cookie banner, applicable device information is marked so that it is not used by Shopify Network Intelligence for non-essential purposes.

Customers may:

  • manage consent through our cookie-preferences control;

  • contact Anyora about information controlled by Anyora; and

  • use the Shopify Privacy Portal to exercise relevant rights directly with Shopify, including withdrawing consent, objecting to certain processing or requesting deletion.

Further information is available through Shopify’s:

8. Pinterest app pixel

Pinterest is connected to our store as an app pixel through Shopify Customer Events.

Subject to applicable consent choices and technical configuration, the Pinterest integration may receive information concerning:

  • page views;

  • product views;

  • searches;

  • basket activity;

  • checkout activity;

  • completed purchases;

  • order value;

  • currency;

  • browser and device information;

  • IP address and approximate location;

  • cookie or advertising identifiers; and

  • hashed identifiers where the integration is configured to send them and their use is permitted.

Pinterest may use this information to:

  • measure advertising performance;

  • attribute visits or purchases;

  • create or measure advertising audiences;

  • personalise advertising;

  • improve advertising recommendations;

  • prevent or detect fraud; and

  • improve Pinterest services.

Pinterest may act as a separate controller for its own processing.

Pinterest may use session and persistent cookies or similar technologies. The exact names and durations are determined by Pinterest and may change.

Further information and controls are available through Pinterest’s:

Anyora does not use customers’ personal information or images in advertising without their consent.

9. Payment and accelerated-checkout technologies

Payment providers, checkout services and digital-wallet providers may use technologies necessary to:

  • display an available payment option;

  • authenticate a customer;

  • verify a payment method;

  • remember a selected checkout service;

  • prevent fraud;

  • process a transaction;

  • maintain payment security;

  • support refunds; or

  • administer disputes and chargebacks.

Relevant providers may include:

  • Shopify Payments;

  • Shop Pay;

  • PayPal;

  • Apple Pay; and

  • Google Pay.

Where you select a particular payment service, technologies strictly necessary to provide that requested service may operate under an applicable legal exception.

A payment provider may also process information under its own privacy and cookie documentation.

Google Pay is identified here only as an available payment method. It is not identified as a Google advertising or analytics integration.

10. Current provider summary

Apple Pay Digital-wallet payment processing Necessary when selected
Google Pay Digital-wallet payment processing Necessary when selected

The list reflects the providers currently confirmed for the purposes described in this policy.

We will update this policy where another provider is intentionally introduced and disclosure is required.

11. How long cookies remain

The duration of a cookie or similar technology depends on:

  • whether it is a session or persistent technology;

  • its purpose;

  • its provider;

  • the browser or device;

  • the customer’s privacy choices;

  • whether the customer deletes it; and

  • provider configuration or updates.

Some technologies expire:

  • when the browser closes;

  • after a few minutes;

  • after approximately 30 minutes;

  • after two weeks;

  • after one year; or

  • at another provider-defined time.

The known Shopify storefront durations at the date of this policy are shown in section 6.

Pinterest and payment providers determine the durations of technologies they independently operate. Their current policies should be reviewed for provider-specific information.

We retain records of cookie and consent choices for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • demonstrate the choice made;

  • apply and respect that choice;

  • operate the consent-management system;

  • respond to enquiries; and

  • comply with applicable obligations.

The retention of those records may also depend on Shopify’s current platform configuration.

12. Data Sharing Opt-Out page

Shopify’s automated Data Sharing Opt-Out page is configured for our store and is available through the relevant privacy link on anyora.uk.

The page’s availability and the options it presents may depend on:

  • the visitor’s location;

  • applicable regional law;

  • Shopify’s automated privacy settings; and

  • the processing relevant to that visitor.

Where applicable, the page may allow eligible visitors to opt out of processing legally treated as:

  • sale of personal information;

  • sharing of personal information;

  • targeted advertising; or

  • similar regulated processing.

United Kingdom visitors can manage non-essential cookie and tracking choices through our cookie-preferences control.

Relevant rights concerning Shopify’s separate processing may also be exercised through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

13. Browser, device and provider controls

Most browsers allow users to:

  • view stored cookies;

  • delete cookies;

  • block all or selected cookies;

  • restrict third-party cookies;

  • receive warnings before cookies are stored; or

  • clear stored website data.

Browser controls operate separately from our cookie-preferences control.

Blocking all cookies may prevent the basket, checkout, account, localisation, authentication or payment functions from working correctly.

A device or provider account may also offer controls relating to:

  • advertising identifiers;

  • tracking;

  • personalisation;

  • stored information; and

  • interest-based advertising.

14. Changing or withdrawing consent

You may change or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie-preferences control on our website.

After a valid withdrawal takes effect:

  • future use of affected non-essential technologies should stop;

  • Shopify receives the updated privacy choice through its Customer Privacy system; and

  • properly integrated app pixels respond according to their permissions and the applicable privacy settings.

Previously stored information may remain until:

  • the technology expires;

  • you delete it through your browser or device;

  • the provider deletes it under its retention practices; or

  • it is deleted following an applicable rights request.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing completed before consent was withdrawn.

15. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control and similar signals

Some browsers or devices provide Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control or similar privacy signals.

There is not one universal technical or legal response standard for every privacy signal in every region.

Where Shopify or an integrated provider recognises a signal under an applicable legal or platform requirement, it may apply that signal according to the relevant configuration.

For direct control over our store’s non-essential technologies, use:

  • our cookie-preferences control;

  • the Data Sharing Opt-Out page where applicable;

  • browser or device settings; and

  • the relevant provider’s privacy controls.

16. International processing

Shopify, Pinterest, PayPal and other providers supporting our store operate internationally.

Information collected through cookies or similar technologies may therefore be processed outside the United Kingdom.

Where Anyora is responsible for a restricted international transfer, we use an appropriate legal transfer arrangement where required, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

A provider acting as a separate controller is responsible for the safeguards applying to transfers it independently makes.

17. Security and responsible use

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information collected through our website and checkout.

Pages that collect personal information use encrypted HTTPS connections.

Anyora does not sell customer contact information.

Anyora does not use customers’ personal information or images in advertising without their consent.

Our website is operated primarily to offer and sell physical goods, not to collect personal information.

We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for:

  • operating and securing the store;

  • providing requested functions;

  • processing orders;

  • delivering customer service;

  • preventing fraud;

  • lawful measurement; and

  • the other purposes explained in our Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy where:

  • a technology is introduced, removed or reconfigured;

  • Shopify changes its technologies or privacy features;

  • Shopify Network Intelligence changes;

  • an app pixel is connected or disconnected;

  • a provider changes;

  • a purpose or duration changes;

  • our consent settings change; or

  • legal requirements change.

The revised policy will be published with an updated “Last updated” date.

Where a new or materially changed use requires consent, we will request the applicable consent before relying on that use.

Before intentionally adding another analytics, advertising or tracking integration, we will review:

  • the provider;

  • the information collected;

  • the purposes;

  • the applicable consent category;

  • provider retention information;

  • the relevant privacy controls; and

  • whether this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy need to be updated.
